leopardcorgiIt’s Luxray! This one was really fun to do. I’d wanted to make a doll of this pokemon for a while (it’s probably my favourite gen 4, alongside Staraptor), but all the mane/spike bits would have taken forever normally. Thankfully they lend themselves just right to needle felting.
I like to try to strike a balance when working with pokemon, between keeping faithul to the original design vs adding realism. I think Luxray is a good example of that. If you make it too realistic then you lose a lot of what makes the original unique. I hope I managed to get that balance here.
